We take student data privacy seriously and utilize industry-leading practices to ensure your information is safe and secure. We never sell your data and closely monitor our compliance with FERPA, COPPA, PIPEDA, and MFIPPA. You can learn more in our Privacy Policy.

Regarding Data Storage
Rally Reader partners with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to provide data center, storage, processing and hosting services for Rally Reader. Leveraging AWS gives Rally Reader customers performance, privacy and security advantages. Amazon has strong security practices and is contractually prohibited from using any personal information that is stored on servers they operate for any purpose other than to operate the Rally Reader service.

Using AWS also enables us to store data in the country that best meets our customers' requirements and preferences. For example, US Customer Data is housed in AWS in the United States, and can even be positioned nearer to the Customer for performance benefits. For Canadian Rally Reader customers, data is housed in Canada. Like most North American-based SaaS Operations, Rally Reader stores some information in the US to deliver our service. For example, Rally Reader employs Sales, Service, and Customer Success teams in the US who periodically access Operational Data to support customers. At times, that information is accessed from the US to service, sell to, or assist a customer in Canada. In order to maintain our high security standards and international legal compliance, we maintain explicit Data Processing Agreements with US-based sub-processors to keep your information private and secure when transferred to the US.
