Our mandate is to help schools improve literacy outcomes for all kids across Canada.
This fund provides FREE access to the Rally Reader platform which covers the cost for every student to have access to 50,000 books from top publishers, a digital reading coach embedded in every text and a dashboard to track every word read.

What's the catch?
All we ask is that your students read for just 15 minutes a day. If your classroom meets (or exceeds!) that goal, you can receive full funding for up to three years.

The Rally Reader Education Fund is held in trust by The Veritas Foundation* and backed by civic minded Canadian companies because data shows literacy rates have been declining since 2020, and 49% of adult Canadians have literacy skills that fall below a high school level. Together we’re changing that, because we believe literacy is a human right, and the classroom readers of today are the leaders of tomorrow.

Claim your funding today
2025 funding participation will be allocated based on a first come, first served basis for qualifying schools within Canada. Schools in metro areas are eligible for up to 3 years of comprehensive funding. Actualized multi-year funding value will be based on the amount of reading that's done by each student. For example, a single average Grade 3 class of 30 students, each reading 7 books a year with an average cost of $12, who receive funding for 3 years, would be 100% covered for over $7500. Extrapolate this out for all classrooms or students in your school to see what this opportunity could mean for you!
